Halef – Episode 35 (Part 2): Car Crashes, Prison Plots, and a Wedding Under Siege
This second part of the season finale continues the intense, fast-paced drama. The episode moves between three main locations: the aftermath of the car accident, the women’s prison where Meryem and Sultan are being held, and the preparations for Serhat and Yıldız’s wedding. Betrayals are exposed, new conspiracies are hatched, and the tension reaches a boiling point.
Main Plot Points
The episode opens immediately after the car accident. Serhat and Yıldız have survived, but the car doors are stuck. Serhat helps Yıldız out. A passerby stops to help, but Serhat assures him they are fine. Yusuf (Serhat’s loyal man) arrives. Serhat tells him the crash was no accident – someone cut the brake cables. He orders Yusuf to investigate.
Meanwhile, Yıldırım receives a phone call from Rami, who reports that Serhat and Yıldız survived. Yıldırım is furious: “Incompetent! I said I would stop that wedding, and I will.” But his associate calms him, saying there is another plan.
Melek is heavily pregnant and stressed. She overhears Yıldırım’s conversation. Her mother tries to calm her, but Melek is obsessed with stopping Serhat and Yıldız’s wedding. She tells her mother, “I don’t want them to be happy. I don’t want them to complete this journey they started by crushing me.” Her mother warns her that her obsession is destroying her soul, but Melek reveals that Yıldırım has a “very good plan” for them.
In the women’s prison, Meryem and Sultan are forced to do hard labor by Rezzan (the aunt of Hicran). Rezzan humiliates them, making them re-wash laundry that is “not good enough.” Meryem complains that Yıldız – whom she raised like her own daughter – betrayed her by sending her to prison. She reveals a dangerous secret: Yıldız knew that Meryem ordered the murders of Hilmi and Nergis. “She knew and she said nothing,” Meryem says. Sultan’s eyes light up – this information could destroy Yıldız and stop the wedding. “When Serhat finds out that Yıldız lied to his face, what will he do?” Sultan whispers.
Back at the wedding preparations, there is a lighthearted moment as women prepare henna for the night. But the mood shifts when Yusuf returns and tells Serhat that they found the culprit: Yıldırım Alimdağ. Serhat is cold and determined. He tells Yusuf, “The Yıldırım issue ends today.” Yusuf prepares to carry out the order.
At the same time, Akif is attacked in his home. A young man sent by Ziyan (or Yıldırım) stabs Akif. His wife Nurgül screams for help. Akif survives but is badly wounded. Nurgül cries that she has become a killer (she may have fought back). She is terrified for her unborn baby. This event further escalates the blood feud.
Serhat then gives Yıldız an extraordinary gift. He takes her to a telescope and shows her a star. “I named that star after you,” he says. “From now on, its name is Yıldız Yel Duran.” Yıldız is speechless. Serhat explains, “I showed you all my lands, all my wealth. You wanted nothing. So I gave your name to this beautiful star.” He tells her that after the official ceremony tomorrow, she will truly become the Hanım Aga of the Yeldirans.
Ziyan is shown ordering his men to surround Serhat’s mansion. He plans a dawn operation. “That wedding will be your grave, Serhat,” he says.
The prison drama intensifies when Sultan manages to get a phone and calls Melek. She tells Melek that she has information that could ruin Yıldız. Sultan asks Melek to meet with her. Melek’s mother is suspicious but allows the call.
Meryem also tries to call Serhat, but Serhat is cold and distant. He tells her he doesn’t want to hear anything about Yıldız. Meryem tries to tell him the truth, but Serhat hangs up.
Yıldırım is cornered. Serhat’s men (including Yusuf) confront him. Yıldırım is shot. He falls to the ground. Serhat appears and tells Yıldırım, “I clean my own courtyard. The important thing is to clean Urfa.” He gives the order: one bullet. Yıldırım is killed.
But the violence does not end there. Ziyan (Yıldırım’s uncle) is informed of Yıldırım’s death. He speaks to Serhat and says, “I don’t want to start a blood feud. But if you say you will pursue it, my place is known.” He accepts the death but the tension remains.
Akif, recovering from his wounds, is terrified. He tells Nurgül that Serhat will not stop until they are dead. “Before he finishes us, we will finish him,” Akif says. But Nurgül wants to run away to save their child. Akif refuses, saying Serhat will find them anywhere.
The episode ends on a romantic but ominous note. Serhat and Yıldız are alone. The electricity goes out. Yıldız is scared, but Serhat reveals it was intentional. He gives her a framed certificate – the star named after her. They embrace. Serhat says, “Tomorrow, after the official marriage, you will be my wife. You will truly become the Hanım Aga of the Yeldirans. You will shine over Urfa, over me, over all of us like this star.”
Yıldız thanks him. They kiss. But the audience knows that multiple conspiracies are still in motion: Ziyan’s men are surrounding the mansion, Sultan has a secret phone, Melek is plotting with Yıldırım’s associates, and Akif is planning revenge.
