Detailed Summary – Episode 3 (First Part)
This part of the episode revolves around a crisis on the farm: the irrigation pump has been sabotaged, and without it, the crops will be lost. The situation quickly becomes a power struggle, a test of trust, and a clash of personalities.
The Problem
The episode opens with the farm workers realizing that the water pump and motor have been deliberately broken. Yaman immediately suspects Mert, his rival, who has been hostile toward the farm and has ties to a construction company that wants to buy their land. Yaman believes Mert is trying to sabotage the farm to force them into selling.
However, Doğa – who is temporarily in charge – tries to approach the problem logically. She asks about alternatives and learns that the only possible solution is to negotiate with Deli Nazmi (“Crazy Nazmi”), a reclusive old man who controls the water source on his land but refuses to share it with anyone.
The Conflict

The Plan

The Meeting with Deli Nazmi
When they arrive at Nazmi’s isolated property, things go wrong immediately. Nazmi sees them as intruders and shoots a drone that was following them (controlled by Mert’s friend Aytekin). He then points a gun at Yaman and Doğa. But then, something unexpected happens: Nazmi sees Doğa and calls her his daughter, Kezban.
It turns out that Doğa bears an uncanny resemblance to Nazmi’s deceased daughter. He completely breaks down emotionally, embracing her and crying. Doğa plays along, calling him “father” and calming him down. She even gives him a gift – a rosary – and introduces Yaman as her husband. Nazmi instantly accepts them and, when Doğa asks for water, he agrees to irrigate the entire plain for her sake.
The Aftermath
The news spreads quickly. Everyone is amazed that Doğa managed to tame the “crazy” old man. They celebrate as the water starts flowing again. But not everyone is happy. Yaman is deeply disturbed by what happened. He confronts Doğa, accusing her of manipulating Nazmi’s feelings and using him for her own gain. He says it was cruel to pretend to be his daughter when she knows it’s not real.
Doğa defends herself, saying that Nazmi is happy now and that’s what matters. The two argue bitterly, and it’s clear that their relationship is strained.
A Sudden Turn
Later, everyone is eating baklava together. Yaman and Doğa are still tense, but trying to act normal. Suddenly, Nazmi chokes and collapses. Everyone panics. They call an ambulance and try to revive him, but it’s unclear if he will survive.
At the same time, there is a subplot involving Hulusi Bey – an older businessman who seems to be secretly working with Mert’s family. He is seen making suspicious phone calls and acting evasive. It’s implied that he is playing both sides, possibly betraying the farm for personal gain.
