Daha 17 – Episodi 3 Pjesa 1

DAHA 17 – Episode 3 First Part

The episode begins with a cruel psychological game played by Aras on another boy. Aras pretends to be his long-lost brother Demir, reciting childhood memories: their mother, father, the house, the tree in the garden, a birdhouse their father built, and a map on the wall where they promised to travel everywhere together. The other boy is deeply moved, believing Aras is truly his brother. He says: “I missed you so much, brother.”

But then Aras suddenly reveals it was all a joke. He laughs and says: “Did you really believe that, you idiot? There is no Demir. I was just messing with you.” The boy is devastated. Aras threatens him: “I will find out who your real brother is before you do, and when I find him, I will take care of him too.” This scene establishes Aras as a manipulative, cruel character who preys on others’ emotional vulnerabilities.

Later, Leyla visits Aras’s dormitory to see him, but he is gone. She learns from another resident that Aras was “sent away” – transferred to another city – but he escaped from the institution’s vehicle. The police have been searching for him. Leyla is shocked and worried.

Mustafa, a police commissioner, is questioned by Hakan Bey about Aras. The police found Aras’s phone at a construction site where a fight broke out. They also have evidence that someone used Mustafa’s phone number to send messages to Aras – specifically, telling Aras that his brother was looking for him. Mustafa denies sending the messages, but Hakan Bey warns him that if Aras does not turn himself in soon, Mustafa may have to give an official statement.

It is then revealed that Teoman – a member of the powerful Akkaya family – was the one who stole his father’s identity, bought a phone line, and sent those messages to Aras as a cruel joke. Teoman admits to his father that he did it because Aras “kept pressing his buttons” and he wanted to “take his mind.” Teoman’s father is furious, but he decides to cover it up. He tells Teoman: “No one will know that Aras was looking for his brother, and no one will know about this mess you made. Especially your mother. She is the only one who still believes you will become a man.”

Leyla goes to see Deniz (Barış’s sister) and learns the full story. Deniz tells her that the Akkaya family is trying to send Aras away because they cannot control Teoman, the “psychopath” brother. Aras was the one who was stabbed by Teoman, and the family blamed someone else. Deniz says: “They are punishing Aras for Teoman’s violence.” Leyla is horrified.

Deniz defends Aras in front of her mother, Özlem, revealing that Teoman stabbed Aras because Aras stood up for Deniz. Deniz says: “Aras was stabbed for me, mother. Teoman brought me home covered in blood.” Özlem is stunned. She finally agrees to help Aras.

Barış (Deniz’s brother) hides Aras in his home. Aras is desperate – he came to Bodrum to find his real brother, and he cannot leave without him. The man who knows where his brother is (the same man who brought Aras to Bodrum) is not answering his phone. Aras is trapped.

Özlem warns Leyla to stay away from the Akkaya house. Leyla confronts her mother, asking why everyone is trying to send Aras away. The mother says: “That boy does not belong here. It’s for everyone’s good – especially his own.” Leyla then reveals that she knows Teoman stabbed Aras. Her mother is shocked.

The episode ends with the police arriving at Özlem’s house to arrest Aras. Someone tipped them off. Barış and Deniz help Aras escape through the back just in time. Aras and Leyla run away together. Aras says: “I have to find that man. I can’t go back without my brother.” Leyla says: “You need to stay here no matter what. I won’t ask why.” She adds: “I’m not angry at you. I’m angry at everyone else – Teoman, Kutay, my mother, my father, and myself – because I didn’t see all of this happening.”
